NEW Contact Tracing Technology.

New contact tracing technology is being rolled out across Vale’s North Atlantic Operations. This technology is intended to reduce the risk COVID 19 contact by providing accurate close contact data back to health care providers in the event that there is a positive case of COVID-19 in our operations.

Our Commitment to Safety.

In light of COVID-19, Vale is taking additional steps to protect the well-being of our personnel and the personnel of our contractors and suppliers who attend our sites. These steps have been implemented to ensure we are following our value ‘Life Matters Most’ and that our actions are aligned with the ongoing escalation of preventative measures being implemented throughout Canada and the world. In line with this, we ask all suppliers and contractors to contact your Vale representative to confirm if any attendance is deemed critical in advance of attending the site. Vale representatives will also be reaching out to contractors and suppliers to reschedule site visits and make alternative arrangements where possible.
