Our Commitment to Safety.
In light of COVID-19, Vale is taking additional steps to protect the well-being of our personnel and the personnel of our contractors and suppliers who attend our sites. These steps have been implemented to ensure we are following our value ‘Life Matters Most’ and that our actions are aligned with the ongoing escalation of preventative measures being implemented throughout Canada and the world. In line with this, we ask all suppliers and contractors to contact your Vale representative to confirm if any attendance is deemed critical in advance of attending the site. Vale representatives will also be reaching out to contractors and suppliers to reschedule site visits and make alternative arrangements where possible.
